And a specific channel for guidance and clarification of doubts by the specialists of Embrapa Amaz\u00f4nia Oriental. The planted area of \u200b\u200bthis fruit in the country is about 220 thousand hectares, with 96% of this total in the state of Par\u00e1, which is the largest national producer with just over 1 million and 500 thousand tons in 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"56\" data-block-id=\"17\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Agronomist Jo\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 de Farias Neto, a researcher at Embrapa Amaz\u00f4nia Oriental, emphasizes that the production of a\u00e7a\u00ed on dry land is an alternative to increase the supply of fruit to the market. \u201cThis supply grows annually around 5%, on the other hand the demand grows more than 15%. There is a lack of a\u00e7a\u00ed in the market,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"56\" data-block-id=\"18\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">In addition, he points out that with irrigation and cultivars recommended by the research, fruit production also takes place in the off-season, when the producer is able to obtain highly rewarding values. \u201cI recommend the cultivation of a\u00e7a\u00ed to any producer who is interested in this culture.
